VALIDATION TECHNICIAN
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Reporting to the Manager, Operations Support and working alongside fellow team members, the primary responsibilities of the Business Analyst would include as follows:
- Draft documents as required upstream of the conduct of exploratory analyses;
- Lead and attend client meetings;
- Conduct mandate-specific analyses for use in exploratory meetings, ensuring that solutions proposed comply with internal standards;
- Submit analysis reports for approval by management, detailing different scenarios ahead of client presentations;
- Ensure rigorous management of all documents and materials by mandate;
- Present analysis results to clients;
- Partake in project kickoff activities;
- Conduct functional analyses of project deliverables;
- Assume consulting role during project execution.
DESIRED PROFIL
Position prerequisites include as follows :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or a combination of relevant training and experience;
- Minimum of five (5) years of business analysis experience;
- Fluently bilingual, French and English (oral and written);
- Knowledge of document management solutions and processes, and/or digitization (added strength);
- Knowledge of ERP solutions such as the following: Acomba, Avantage PME, Hopem, JD Edwards, Sage and others;
- Proactive and results-oriented;
- Active listener both customer- and solution-oriented;
- Ability to work on several projects at a time in dynamic environment;
- Skilled at popularizing concepts, verbally and in writing;
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and business skills;
- Amenable to adapting working hours based on deliverables.
